When I Am Big

Maria Dek holds an art degree from both the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and University of the Arts, London. She is based in Poland and has written and illustrated other children's books including A Walk in the Forest, Bear and the Whisper of the Wind, and When I Am Bigger.
